The tenth Ambulance Leadership Forum (ALF), hosted for the first time by the Association of Ambulance Chief Executives (AACE). Over 175 ambulance leaders from across the UK gathered for the two day conference in Kenilworth which was opened by NHS Chief, Sir David Nicholson.

The ALF Conference 2011 took place at AMBITION 2011 - the exciting new national NHS ambulance conference and exhibition that incorporates the ALF conference, the HART conference, and an exhibition hall full of suppliers to the ambulance and related emergency services.

Meeting highlights: Throughout the day delegates were invited to learn more about their own risk factors regarding a brain attack / stroke and to take up the offer of seasonal and swine flu vaccination at the ‘clinics’ provided.
