Bringing our values to life at NEAS
Our organisational values were developed by employee and stakeholder engagement in 2015 and implemented from 2016 onwards. Our challenge was to bring those values to life so that every member of the organisation held a common understanding of how we should demonstrate NEAS’s values day in and day out and do our best to embody them.
Our behaviours framework makes more explicit those behaviours that we as an organisation expect from every employee in the Trust. Colleagues from every corner of the NEAS Trust have identified those behaviours that are expected at NEAS. We have also identified outstanding behaviours that we should all aspire to, more of the time.
Our behaviours framework shows how we want to present ourselves to the outside world and how we want to behave towards each other.
We embed our behaviours:
- On recruitment and at induction
- During appraisal and performance management
- In our day-to-day decision-making
- In the way we recognise and reward employees
- In talent management and career progression
