Replace Capnography assists… para with Capnography assists in confirma…

Issue: Replace Capnography assists… para with Capnography assists in confirmation and continuous monitoring of tracheal tube placement, can provide feedback on the quality of CPR and can provide an early indication of return of spontaneous circulation. The use of capnography is mandatory to assist in identifying correct tracheal tube placement, although it should be used in conjunction with visualisation of the tracheal tube entering the cords and auscultation. In the absence of a capnograph, a supraglottic airway device (SAD) should be used when advanced airway management is indicated. EtCO2 can be monitored with a SAD and can be useful in providing positive feedback on quality of CPR. Any decision to terminate resuscitation should not be based on either the presence or absence of EtCO2 alone. Note: A capnograph is a device that measures CO2 with both a numerical and waveform display.
