Description: The two separate Morphine Sulfate monographs (General, and End of Life) have been combined into one monograph. Breathlessness at end of life is now included as a new indication, following a review of the use of morphine during the COVID-19 pandemic, and as per the NASMeD guidance that was issued on JRCALC Plus in April 2020. New cautions and dosages have been added for patients under 50kg and for frail and/or older adults.
