Director of UEC Delivery

As the Director of UEC Delivery, Jennifer provides strategic and operational leadership to a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team. In this role Jennifer ensures the effective delivery of pre-hospital access programmes (including NHS 111 and ambulance) to support recovery and improvement of UEC performance, and develops long-term strategies on pre-hospital access, working closely with other teams within the Operations directorate and the wider NHSE.
Jennifer joined NHS England in November 2021 as Director of Rehabilitation and Discharge before taking on the role of Director for Intermediate Care with responsibility for developing the policy and delivery framework for intermediate care and hospital discharge.
Jennifer is a qualified radiographer by background, and prior to joining NHS England, was Chief Allied Health Professions Officer and Policy Lead for Out of Hospital Services at the Department of Health in Northern Ireland.
She has held a number of board level appointments including the Department of Health Management Board for Rebuilding Health and Social Care (HSC) Services, the Joint Department of Health/ Department of Communities Housing in Health Board, and the Northern Ireland Primary Care Board.
