NHS Confederation
Lord Victor Adebowale CBE has been Chair of the NHS Confederation since 2020, which formally merged with NHS Providers in 2026.
He previously served as Chief Executive of Turning Point and now chairs Social Enterprise UK, Visionable UK Ltd and Collaborative CIC, as well as founding Leadership in Mind. He became Chair of IPPR in 2024.
Victor has held non‑executive roles with NHS England and the Co‑operative Group and has chaired major commissions on policing, employment, mental health, housing and fairness.
A crossbench peer since 2001, he is a Visiting Professor, an honorary fellow of multiple Royal Colleges and a recipient of a CBE.
