Clinical Director, Urgent and Emergency Care George Eliot Hospital
After a short time serving in the British Army Medical Services Chris trained as a Paramedic, gaining his HCPC registration in 2013. Chris is passionate about leadership and the development of paramedic practice in the context of cross sector leadership. In 2023 Chris was recruited as one of the first non-medical clinical directors in an acute NHS organisation in the country. Also, a serving Executive Board Member on the West Midlands Imaging Network.
Chris continues to work clinically within the acute Trust and as a bank paramedic with East Midlands Ambulance Service.
In his spare time an active mountaineer, climber, husband, and father.
