Lead Nurse Urgent Care

YAS

Lesley is responsible for personalised care within YAS, her portfolio includes Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Neurodiversity, Frailty and High Frequency Users.  Lesley is also a part time PhD student with Leeds Beckett University Centre for Dementia Research, where she is using Ethnography to understand the experiences of people living with Dementia who use Patient Transport Services.   Lesley is passionate about the experience of all our patients but particularly those who experience health inequalities.

The YAS Rough Sleeper project has been designed with people who have lived experience and aims to allow us to understand the experiences of rough sleepers when using YAS services.  The project, which has been funded by Yorkshire Ambulance Service Charity, is allowing the voices of a population that can be difficult for the NHS to reach to be heard.
