Stephen Bromhall

Stephen was born in Luton, Bedfordshire and now lives in Buckinghamshire. Stephen studied Computer Science and Technology from 1983-1986.

Stephen is an International Certified Healthcare CIO (CHCIO), a Fellow of the British Computer Society, and a Leading Practitioner of the Federation of Information Practitioners

Stephen has worked within Healthcare for a large proportion of his career in Healthcare Technology at East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST), GE Healthcare and BT Health. He is also a public governor at South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust.

Stephen is the CDIO and SRO for Digital Transformation at EEAST has held senior leadership positions in IT and Informatics within Operations, Program Delivery, Strategy, Commercial and Contract functions.

He is a renowned evangelist for automation, collaboration and data utilisation across the “Care Pathways” joining primary and secondary care data together to enable clinicians’ access to meaningful clinical information for the benefit of patients at the point of care.

Stephen is a regular speaker at Digital Health events including regional HIMMS sessions, Healthcare Strategy Forums, and Blue Light Events.
