Right care right person: Are we achieving the right care and sending the right person where concerns for welfare exist?

Session Information

The impact of the Right Care Right Person (RCRP) policy on ambulance service activity is currently unknown.

Calls for concern for welfare are becoming more pertinent within ambulance services, with a lack of guidance around which service is responsible for responding to such calls.

This service evaluation aimed to understand the outcomes associated with concerns for welfare, to establish whether this is appropriate ambulance demand, which in turn may inform policy on service suitability.
