This week marked the conclusion of our first ambulance people professional development programme which aimed to empower and enable colleagues working in roles responding to the inevitable increase in sexual safety related concerns (which is an excellent indicator you are validating experiences and building trust in your organisation).
We have facilitated 7 learning sessions throughout the summer months and the feedback collected throughout has been invaluable in shaping the next steps for the ambulance sector’s approach to improving sexual safety and ensuring the people professional voice is heard.
A huge thank you to the 450+ colleagues who have engaged, and to our learning facilitators and subject matter experts who gave up their time to shape this unique programme.
