I would like to thank everyone who works in or volunteers for the UK NHS ambulance service for their contribution over the last year. The ambulance sector has faced a phenomenal challenge over a prolonged period which has been – and continues to be – unlike anything any of us has ever experienced before.
Each and every one of you has played a part in the national NHS ambulance service’s response to Covid-19, be that in 999, 111 or patient transport in public-facing or support roles.
In my role as AACE chair, I would like to wish you and your families the very best for 2021.
