To mark The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, the Association of Ambulance Chief Executives have commissioned a commemorative medallion that will be awarded to all ambulance support staff who have served in the ambulance service for five years or more.
All staff who have served in the ambulance service for five years or more (and who are not eligible for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal) will be entitled to the medallion by way of recognition for their valued service.
For clarity, the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal is only awarded to ambulance staff who are in face to face contact with patients so does not include all those staff that support front line operations.

AACE Lead Steve Irving says: “AACE is pleased to support Ambulance Trusts in marking this special royal occasion and medallions will be distributed by the end of May to each Trust for awarding locally.”
