In May 2014, the first ever UK Hoarding Awareness Week will be undertaken by CFOA and  Fire and Rescue Services (FRSs) across the UK.

UK Hoarding Awareness Week 2014 has three key objectives:

• To spread more widely an awareness of hoarding facts
• To promote greater understanding and acceptance across those who can influence change
• To encourage a stronger tendency for those who can influence change to support and promote at key moments.

The 2014 campaign is focusing on increasing awareness of hoarding amongst the Fire and Rescue Service community and its strategic partners.
