The seventh edition of Keeping PAACE, our quarterly update for ambulance service employees and volunteers, is now available for download.
For this summer edition we cover the following topics:
- The AACE Strategic Approach, 2023 to 2026
Following consultation with our members and key stakeholders, AACE has developed our strategic approach for the next three years.
- #SafeInTheBack campaign
This national campaign – being led by AACE – is designed to highlight the serious implications of not wearing seatbelts or harnessing patients properly in the back of ambulance vehicles. It is targeted at frontline ambulance staff with the goal of effecting behavioural change.
- Reducing Health Inequalities
Every day, ambulance services take thousands of calls from the public and see first-hand that in our least well-off neighbourhoods people are dying years earlier than they should. Working on behalf of the UK’s NHS ambulance services, AACE has brought partners together to develop and launch a national consensus approach to support ambulance services and their Integrated Care Systems in reducing health inequalities.
- The Story of JRCALC
JRCALC is best known for the production of clinical guidelines for UK paramedics, often referred to as just the ‘JRCALC guidelines’. The guidelines are produced by JRCALC for NHS ambulance service paramedics, on behalf of AACE.
