As the NHS works to emerge from the pandemic and other global impacts, there are many people suggesting that to do so in a sustainable and effective way will require all parts of the health and care system to do things differently.
AACE too believes that it is time for some radical change if we are to alleviate the current pressures and improve experience and outcomes for patients, as well as creating attractive roles and positive working environments for our staff.
We have developed a vision for the ambulance sector, working with our members and our colleagues in NHS Confederation and NHS Providers, as a conversation starter to engage our partner providers and integrated care system leaders. You can read it here.
We will be building on these ideas over the coming year to try and affect some meaningful change.
