One of the country’s leading senior NHS ambulance Chief Executives Dr Anthony Marsh QAM has called for the ambulance service and the wider healthcare emergency preparedness, resilience and response (EPRR) community to attend and support Ambition 2015 – a new-look event designed to benefit those working in the urgent and emergency care sector.

Ambition 2015 takes place at Olympia in London, 21-22 April 2015 and has been re-designed to meet the learning and networking needs of the wider healthcare resilience and response community.

Ambition-logo-2015The conference stream is not just aimed at the traditional emergency services (police, fire, ambulance) and resilience forums but also at a range of other providers such as NHS acute Trusts, councils, specialist rescue and voluntary agencies and a broad range of Government departments.

Among other roles, Dr Marsh is the national ambulance strategic lead for the Joint Emergency Services Interoperability Programme (JESIP) and the ambulance Chief Executive with the lead for the national ambulance EPRR portfolio.

He says:

Conferences and exhibitions can be an excellent way to meet colleagues old and new, swap ideas and learn lessons from the experiences of others from across the globe. However, this will be the first time that so many healthcare EPRR professionals have ever been invited together under one roof and we want them to use Ambition 2015 to challenge the status quo, pitch new ideas, share best practice and help find new solutions and answers to some of the key issues facing the urgent and emergency care sector today. I would recommend that colleagues register now and be part of a potentially invaluable event.”

The event will include a free-to-attend two-day conference stream that features high profile speakers discussing topics of key interest to the EPRR community.
