The Association of Ambulance Chief Executives (AACE) has today announced that Anna Parry – its current Deputy Managing Director – has been chosen as the next AACE Managing Director and will commence her new role on 1st October 2023.
Commenting on the appointment, AACE Chair Daren Mochrie QAM said:
Following the conclusion of a robust selection process yesterday, chaired by myself alongside two other AACE Board members, I am delighted to confirm that Anna Parry has been appointed to the role of AACE Managing Director.
Anna succeeds current Managing Director Martin Flaherty, who after eleven years of excellent service in the role will take up a new role as the AACE Director of Operational Development and Quality Improvement, focusing mainly on the development of the successful consultancy support arm of AACE as well as remaining as the organisation’s main operational interface with key external stakeholders such as NHSE and DHSC.
Anna has worked within AACE for over ten years and I believe she is now ideally placed to take the organisation forward over the coming years.
I wish her every success in her new role leading AACE’s growth as a highly regarded national, and indeed international, membership body that continues to serve and improve its offer to all members for the years ahead.
