AACE is proud to stand alongside our emergency services colleagues in support of 999 Day on 9 September 2025.
This national day offers a powerful opportunity to recognise the courage, compassion and commitment of the nearly two million people who work and volunteer across the NHS and emergency services in the UK.
Within that, we pay special tribute to the 250,000 ambulance employees and volunteers – paramedics, call handlers, clinicians, and support teams – who respond to emergencies 24/7, often in the most challenging and unpredictable circumstances.
Their dedication saves lives, supports communities, and exemplifies the very best of public service and we welcome this opportunity to celebrate them.
