The 2016 Ambulance Leadership Forum (ALF) will be held at Hinckley Island Hotel in Leicestershire, on February 9th & 10th 2016.
Hosted by the Association of Ambulance Chief Executives (AACE), the Ambulance Leadership Forum continues to be the conference where ambulance leaders, senior managers and stakeholders come together to share best practice and ideas on how to improve the way they manage and develop their local services.
Established in 2006, this annual conference gives senior personnel from across urgent and emergency care the opportunity for networking and to hear from key figures in the NHS, Department of Health and other parts of the public and private sector on current/future leadership thinking and policy development.
This year we will be offering delegates the chance to influence and inform the strategic direction of the UK ambulance service and their influence on health and social care.
We will be hosting a number of facilitated workshops on the second day of the ALF to consider and discuss some of the key topics featured in day one of the conference programme.
Each year ALF grows in stature and provides senior people with an interest in the ambulance service, from both here and abroad, with the opportunity to explore new ideas, hear new thinking on key ambulance-related topics and network with colleagues.
Initially started as an invitation only event designed for the strategic development of the English ambulance services, ALF has now become a major catalyst for the improvement of patient care, because it is where new ideas can take shape that will ultimately benefit patients.”
