Happy International Women’s Day from the Association of Ambulance Chief Executives

Throughout the week and especially today ambulance trusts have been coming together to inspire, educate, and empower all, highlighting this year’s theme of #InspireInclusion.


East of England Ambulance Service held a collaborative event with Essex Police and the Deputy Police and Fire Commissioner where attendees were able to listen and engage with a range of speakers on topics including domestic abuse, mental health and wellbeing, menopause, neurodiversity, and miscarriage.


South East Coast Ambulance Service held a face to face event with presentations and a menopause café followed by three monthly spotlights on SECAmb women sharing their inspirational stories.


South Western Ambulance Service are holding a virtual conference designed for all colleagues to attend and featuring thought-provoking discussions, inspiring words from guest speakers and colleagues, and engaging sessions focused on various aspects of women’s empowerment, leadership, and progression.


West Midlands Ambulance Service are holding a face to face event with a number of guest speakers, a self-defence class and a coach talking about self-esteem and confidence.


The Welsh Ambulance Service hosted lunchtime learning sessions on Women in Tech and Male Allyship as well as an International Women’s Day Celebration Coffee Morning.
