“Our BME People & Communities – a Conversation”
This session – held on Tuesday 7 July, 2 – 3.30pm – was for all our NHS ambulance service people with the aim of enhancing understanding and raising awareness of BME staff and communities, particularly in the context of Covid-19 and the Black Lives Matter movement.
We heard from some speakers with expertise, knowledge and experience in this area and provided the opportunity for colleagues to reflect on what they have heard, and to share their own thoughts and views.
