Good-practice-in-ambulance-commissioning-final-pdf-for-website-1The National Ambulance Commissioners Network (NACN) today launched Good Practice in Ambulance Commissioning, a briefing that pulls together examples of good practice from across the country.

The purpose of the briefing is to share innovative ways of commissioning emergency care, to help ambulance commissioners to think about new ways of working, in partnership with providers, to deliver effective and efficient ambulance services in their local area.

A common thread that runs through all of the case studies is effective partnerships between ambulance commissioners and providers of ambulance services. The NACN provides the opportunity to develop those vital partnerships to innovate for the benefit of patients and local populations.

If you want to learn more about the NACN or discuss any of the examples inluded in the briefing, get in touch at office@nhscc.org
