This research, published today (Dec 7) at the NHS Disability Summit, explores improving experiences of Disabled staff in the Ambulance Sector.
The Workforce Disability Equality Standard (WDES) highlights that ambulance trusts are an outlier in a number of areas, meaning Disabled staff have poorer experiences in comparison to staff within other NHS Trust types.
This research explored improvement initiatives which has led to positive improvements both on a regional and national level.
The East of England Ambulance NHS Trust have supported this key research in collaboration with NHSE & AACE.
