Vic is an independent consultant with over 25 years’ experience in the Ambulance sector. He has held senior roles across Information Management & Technology and Digital Strategy functions.
With an Electronic Engineering degree and commercial radio communications background, Vic joined the London Ambulance Service as Radio Services Manager in 1995. During his career, Vic rose to manage, implement and lead teams delivering a variety of infrastructure and information services. This included networks, telephony, radio, data centres, desktops, cyber defences and technical and enterprise architecture practice. Vic went on to fulfil an Acting IM&T Director role for four years. Operating at an executive level, this widened his overarching leadership to IT governance and broader services such as information management, development, and service management, before moving on to focus on developing digital strategies and helping teams bridge strategies to successful execution.
Vic has a passion for delivering strategy and transformation well, and coaching teams to sustain strategic thinking and linked delivery. He continues to work in the Ambulance sector, directly and engaging with ICBs and regional teams, to help overcome Ambulance Service business challenges and make good investment decisions with digital as an enabler.
