Delegates at the Association of Ambulance Chief Executives’ Annual Conference (#ALF2019) gathered together this morning (19th March 2019) to form a human ‘NZ’ to show their support for, and solidarity with, their New Zealand colleagues who responded to the deadly terrorist attack in Christchurch last week, as well as the families and friends of the victims.
Anthony Marsh QAM, National Strategic Adviser of Ambulance Services, Chief Executive of West Midlands Ambulance Service and Chair of the Association of Ambulance Chief Executives said:
We are extremely proud of our colleagues in New Zealand and we wanted to do something highly visible to show our solidarity, express our gratitude to those who responded to this horrific event and send our love to them, as well as the families and friends of the victims.
