The National Ambulance Disability Network – the focus to date

The National Ambulance Disability Network (NADN) was established last year to provide a platform to learn from the experience of people with disabilities working within the NHS ambulance sector.

In this short video Dawn Whelan, NADN chair, provides an update on the findings detailed in the NHS Workforce Disability Equality Standard for 2021.

Working with national and local colleagues, Dawn has been investigating the findings detailed in the report, identifying where outcomes may be poorer for employees with disabilities within the ambulance sector, and considering how this can be improved upon for the future.
