The role of ambulance CEOs within AACE

Chief Executives of all ten English NHS ambulance trusts and the Welsh ambulance service NHS Trust are full members of the association of Ambulance Chief Executives (AACE).

AACE was established to support and work with national bodies to develop policy, progress national work programmes and provide an effective and efficient way for ambulance trusts to collaborate and work together.

AACE overseas a broad range of national workstreams and each has a CEO lead who keeps a watching brief over the national group and associated subgroups.

In the first of our CEO profiles, AACE is delighted to introduce Jason Killen, CEO of the Welsh Ambulance Services (WAS) NHS Trust and CEO lead for the National Directors Operations Group (NDOG).

In this short video, Jason introduces himself and shares an overview of his role at WAS and as a member of the AACE chief executive group.
