AACE extends sympathies to family of WMAS crew member Jeremy Daw


Association of Ambulance Chief Executives Managing Director Martin Flaherty OBE has made the following announcement following the tragic incident which led to the death of a West Midlands Ambulance Service crew member yesterday morning (Saturday) while on duty in Herefordshire:


The Association of Ambulance Chief Executives extends its deepest sympathy and condolences to the family of Jeremy (Jack) Daw, the West Midlands Ambulance Service crew member who tragically died on Saturday morning, when an object struck the windscreen of the ambulance he was travelling in while responding to a patient in Herefordshire.

Ambulance staff across the country will no doubt pause and reflect for a moment today in solidarity with their colleague Jeremy (Jack).

We would also like to pass on our condolences to Jeremy’s crewmate Matthew Tyler who was also injured in the incident, and wish him the best as he recovers from this sad incident.
