AACE publishes “Ambulance Services and the Pandemic – a review of 2020-21”

Ambulance services and the pandemic – AACE annual review 2020-21 FINAL front coverIn recognition of the unusual nature of the year 2020-21, AACE has taken a different approach in the production of our annual report. We have decided instead to share more personal experiences from a wide range of ambulance staff, as well as colleagues in some of our partner organisations who supported the ambulance sector during this challenging time.

These challenges, and more, continue to this day.

Some of the reflections in this review talk about the lessons learned from the pandemic and, while many of these lessons have been implemented, we know the learning will continue for years to come.

We publish this report as we reflect on the very real contributions and sacrifices made by ambulance service employees and volunteers throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
