After the success of last year’s campaign, the NHS Employers organisation is working in partnership with the Social Partnership Forum to deliver the national seasonal flu campaign for NHS staff. Vaccination uptake in healthcare workers with direct patient care increased from 35 per cent in 2010/11 to 45 per cent in 2011/12 and flu fighter is here to further increase uptake of the flu vaccine among NHS staff this year.
